This 5 year old, approximately 1450 square foot , three-bedroom cabin is located on Cortes Island waterfront on 2 acres near Cortes Bay, just west of Red Granite Point.

The cabin is set close to and overlooking the ocean, and has a walk-on gravel and rock beach, perfect for beachcombing, swimming, snorkeling and canoe or kayak launching.

 
The cottage faces the ocean, providing a vantage point from which to watch the boats passing by, and great for sunsets, moonrises and meteor showers.

The beach at low tide. Oysters and clams are a short, easy walk. You can fish off the rocks nearby.  Perimeter trees provide privacy. This is a beautiful spot; perfect for getting away from it all

Moorage: wharf space may be rented from a neighbour;

the government wharf is nearby in Cortes Bay

The upper level consists entirely of a very large master bedroom with a walk-in closet and ensuite with a toilet and sink. A huge private deck (almost 500 square feet and perfect for sunbathing) leads off the room.  All linens are provided; renters must supply their own beach towels and beach blankets.

 

 The main floor consists of 2 bedrooms and a large open-plan living-dining-kitchen area with lots of windows facing the ocean. There is a bathroom with a tub/shower and laundry area with a washer/dryer.

 

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, etc.

The cabin is bright and comfortable, and very well equipped.  There is satellite TV, VCR, radio/cassette player and telephone.
